Many of you have been asking about the Covid-19 outbreak in Ethiopia. We are fortunate that so far the novel Coronavirus has been spreading slowly in Ethiopia. However, in recent days the number of new confirmed cases as been rising at an increased rate.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic began, we were taking many trips to our suppliers in southern Ethiopia. Though we are no longer traveling to protect the coffee growing communities, we are now all the more motivated to build a sustainable supply chain and connect our partner farmers to the world.
Ethio Gabana was founded as a specialty coffee company in Ethiopia with the desire to supply roasters and consumers across the world with traceable single origin coffee. Besides supplying coffee we are now also venturing into roasting and brewing.
